beat an lt1 camaro tonight
(im in the mustang btw) so tonight there is an lt1 camaro fucking with me on the highway, we end up catching the next red light and he looks over at me and says he wants to go. light turns green and we go for it. it was my first time ever actually launching the car. i did 'alright', he pulled ahead at the beginning and i started to catch up towards redline, blew 2nd up and had passed him at redline, excessive chirp in 3rd. i beat him by about 3/4 of a car length at 90 mph. i look down and realize i had trac control on
 so my 1st and 2nd gears were limited cause that shit kicked on. i would have won by more if i had that shit turned off. but im happy with it as it is supposed to be dead even with me |

sounds about right with you having a manual. i ran a stock lt1 camaro at a 1/8th mile track and was dead nuts with it. i don't know if it was stick or an auto though. it was auto i think because it was a girl and her dad was trying to get her ready to do bracket races. you still need to take that motherfucker to the track so i can compare.
