I blew my transmission in my SS not to long ago.
![]() luckily for me my friend found a built one for 600 bucks. No converter so ill probably try and pick up a used Yank stall for a decent price ![]() A different friend lives across from the street from some guy with a COMPLETE Magnaflow catback WITH an electric cutout (all ready to clamp to the car)...350 DOLLARS! ..im stoked..ill be picking that up this week.![]() Old: blown ass transmission and SLP Dual/Dual catback New: built transmission and Magnaflow catback with e-cutout ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice brew, but honestly, I'd keep the SLP Dual/Dual. It's quiet and flows so well and they don't make it any more so if you ever wanted to sell it someone will probably pay like $600 for it.
Yank converters are good shit. What size you going? |

its a 60...still debating on the SS3600/PT440....starting to lean towards the PT tho..im going to keep my dual/dual in the shed or something and tell it for lots of cash later on down the road..or swap it over if I want to later...i hear the magnaflow flows soo much better

Yeah magnaflow is awesome, you can't go wrong with a cutout either.
3600 would be nice. I know like 3 guys that run 3600s on the street in daily drivers. |

If the car is a DD, I'd say go with the 3600. The 4400 is going to be pretty loose. Regardless, you're going to lose 3+ mpg by going with a bigger stall. Are you stock gearing? Stock cam?
The magnaflow is good flowing as well as pretty good sounding, though the SLP Dual/Dual is up there as well. It's all about sound between those 2. |
