View Full Version : Weirdest thing happened at the range yesterday

I was shooting my AR. Finished the mag and the bolt locked back. I set it down next to me and was wanting to shoot my brothers G-22. Fired a magazine and loaded the mag to my AR to shoot it some more.

Let the bolt slam forward, aim, pull trigger, CLICK. Wtf. I looked and the bolt was still open 3/4 inch. I tried pulling the charging handle back and it was tighter than an 9 year old virgin. Got the shell out and it wouldnt go forward or back. I started freaking out. I said fuck it and started to leave and a guy goes "what kind of AR is that" and I replied " a piece of shit"

We started messing with it and FINALLY got the bolt to come back.....a fucking spent casing to my brothers G22 fell out. I guess a spent case found its way into my open action when I was plinking away. The guy told me to go buy a lottery ticket because that was 1 in a million. That it was pretty lol after I figured out my AR wasnt broken:rofl:

In what little experience I've had with AR's, I learned quickly that if it's jammed, stuck, or doesn't work bang it against something or hit it with a blunt object.

If it still doesn't come loose, bang it harder or get a bigger hammer :mamoru:

I want my AR back. Never should have sold that thing. Should have just gotten evicted. Now im down to a .50AE Desert Eagle, .50 Magnum 500, .45 Glock, and a Ruger 9mm :( The AR was still my favorite.
