Oldboy is a thriller with an elaborate plot, amazing ending, great fight killing and torture scenes, likable characters, awesome soundtrack and an profound message.

I'm my mind this is one of the top 5 movies out there, as far as entertainment goes. Don't let the different language and subtitles scare you, and don't even think about dubbing this one.

Oldboy is a movie about a man who is imprisoned for 15 years, and subsequently released back into society without knowing why, or who has done this to him. He vows to seek vengeance and is subsequently involved in a intricate struggle to find the truth in his detainment.

The plot is amazing and very complex, especially the ending, although strenuous thinking isn't really necessary. The fight scenes while not the main attraction are incredibly well done, especially the continuous corridor fight scene. The assortment of emotions you will feel for the characters as the plot progresses really make this movie. No other movie makes my emotions fluctuate like Oldboy; I feel like a teenage girl on her period while watching this movie. Also, Oldboy has a great soundtrack of an assortment of classical and electronic songs. Various memorable quotes and humourous scenes nicely round out this badass movie about a mans pursuit of vengeance.

even if you don't like fighting movies, you won't mind the fight scenes in the movie. i'm guessing you won't want to ffwd through them.

the fight scenes maybe total 5 mins and they aren't mortal kombat shit, they are quite well done, realistic and worth watching. There are some hard to watch torture scenes though. The fight and torture scenes aren't put there just to excite the viewer cause the plot is boring, they are quite crucial to the plot development.

I thought this movie was pretty badass.

Fulltime Killer is good, not great but pretty good. Family Video has it in their 2 for 1$ section

phonics would you mind spoilering part of your post. It's clicking the :oopsie: icon when you make a reply.

Seriously though, never thought incest could be so disgusting. Hammer scene has nothing on the tongue cut out

This is one of my favorite movies of all time(I'm not Asian). It gives you a :hs: feeling at the end and makes you think about life.
