We now have a place for you guys to ask questions and get help for your Mobile Electronics. I've been in and around car audio since about 1995. I don't know it all, but can offer some help and maybe point you in the right direction. Hopefully some others will be able to help as well!

Count me in. Been doing installs since the mid '90's. Specialize in putting together a nice system on a low budget, and locating old school components.

I currently have the holy grail of old school subs in my truck. Lanzar DC10. Found it as NOS about 2 years ago.
And it's being powered by an Orion Cobalt 702 that I also found as NOS.

Well, for some reason I can't start a new thread, but I am in the market for a Kenwood DNX8120. Opinions? I heard it's great except the GUI, did they fix it at all with the new release?
Another question - I would like to hook up a backup camera and have it turn on automatically when I shift to reverse, but I would also like to be able to turn it on while I'm driving. The place where I'd like to get it installed told me that they could do that, but when I turn it in while driving, my rev lights will turn on (which I would like to avoid... obviously.) But surely there's a way around this? I'm not totally skilled with electronics/wiring, nor am I skilled in installation. I'd love to hear what you guys have to say :)
