I think the P7 is a great choice. Most other HK guns, though, are just overpriced and offer no advantages over other, cheaper, options.

I'm eying the P250 myself, but have yet to hold one or shoot one in person. So I'll hold my opinions of it to just "looks nice, sweet concept" but have no real facts yet.

The P250 is out right now. Its only in 9mm at this point, and only comes in compact trim.
However, it will eventually be offered in 9, 40, 357 and possibly 45 if the demand is there, and sub-compact, compact and full trims.
There are like a bajillion different ways to mix and match, but it'll get expensive. But it'll offer many options for police departments, but only one gun.

i try to do that shit too. i just got back from a bike ride with my wife. i just bought this fucking mountain bike/road bike thing and the seat is terrible. but it has this kinda push button shifting which is nice. gotta change the seat post too, i'm 6 ft. and its too tall and won't go lower.

however my fatass bottoms out the shocks nicely.
