i thought he was going to at his new's conference this afternoon, but all he basically said is he is disappointed that he failed to live up to the standards he set for myself. :ugh:
he also said he has to dedicate time to regaining the trust of his family.
ya think? :oopsie:

Damn I liked his work as public advocate as well. Turns out he was just as corrupt as the politicians he was busting on, back in the day.

this has been going on for years, and he was arrogant enough to think he was going to get away with it.

lol @ prostitution being illegal in the US. its just reflection of the entire US holier than thou moral movement, which is all a sham.

I know that this was stupid and all, but I can't help but feel that he's still one of the better politicians. I'd rather have somebody taking some of the immoral corporations to task while boning hookers than some holier than thou methodist in Clearchannel's pocket.

the way the funds were laundered to pay for the prostitutes is what may get him into trouble.
he won't get prosecuted for soliciting a prostitute.

I'm happy he's resigning. I was talking to my dad about it this morning and if he didn't resign it would have looked so shady to justify staying around after clearly breaking the law.

I think it is pretty lame that this has been one of the biggest events in mainstream political media coverage.
Forget that we have a president that is an idiot, or the economy is taking a big shit. He slept around, for christ sake, probably one of a million people to do just that this year.
Bascially, meh, is how I feel. :dunno:
