Price is in US dollars, yes it's a little more expensive than it is over there, but that includes taxes and shipping to Panama. I wish I could pay less, but there's no way that's happening, at least on this model.

AC adapter at the end is in addition to the included one btw.

I have the XPS 1710 and it is far superior to any laptop I have ever encountered. Runs almost any game smoothly and has the LEDs to add to the overall presentation. The only problem I encountered was that the screen started to dull in the corners slightly. Thankfully, Dell came right to my house and installed a new one as soon as I complained. At least the technician wasn't also outsourced to India, like thier Customer Service.

I saw the 1710 and it's looks great, but I have a dv9000 now and I'm really trying to cut back on the size/weight.
