I loved the emphasis on cycles, throughout the series and especially this last episode.
Carver becoming the new daniels
Sydnor the new mcnulty
Dookie the next bubbles.
And especially michael becoming the new omar. :bowdown:

Surprised that Mcnulty and freamon got out of that mess, didn't really consider the copycat killer scenario before. It was also good to see them forgive greggs.
I loved the irish wake for mcnulty it was very fitting and quite moving.
Fucking kenard i thought he was going to go out killing a few cops and wee-bay and chris in jail together as soldiers was pretty tight.
Pissed that steve that cocksmoker didn't get got. And that asshole valchek

Also a great sequence at the end showing how everyones lives have changed. Reminded me a lot of six feet under, which has undoubtedly the best series finale episode.

Great depiction of the endless cycle - especially the scene with Marlo skipping out and going straight to the street, and I was glad to see Vondas & The Greek still holding strong at the end - loved s02 and the whole Docks crew.

Really couldn't have asked for a better ending to a fucking great show :bowdown:

yeah it was a damn good ending.

I don't know what you saw in the season 2 docks crew though, that was by far the worst season for me. I think season 1 was my favourite even though i had an incredibly hard time remembering whose who. God damn black people looking the same.

Yeah i always liked slim charles, good to see cheese get got.

i am truly going to miss the characters from the wire. such an amazing show and a great ending. i was really hoping they'd stress the 'life goes on' viewpoint and they MORE than did.

i actually cheered when cheese got shot. i always hated that fucking guy. sad about dook. i liked that kid. just so many great things about the show.

Good ending, but would have been better if Omar didnt die, and Dookie didnt turn out to be a fucking heroin addict.

i liked how they showed the troubled kid getting out and being good and the good kids get fucked. pretty shitty when you think about it.

Yea dude, Micheal is an awesome character. Not as good as Omar though, I named my snake Omar lol, he keeps it real in the skreets.
