I know there have been a ton of new P6 owners lately. The most common problem is feeding JHPs. One fix is to find an updated P225 barrel but they're hard to find and almost as expensive as the P6. Well I just saw this thread on sigforum and figured I'd pass it on. He remachines the feed ramp angle and polishes the barrel. $45.

I recognize those pics from the M&P forum. Someone there is probably on multiple boards.
A bit too blingy if you ask me. I like the stainless look, but the shiny chrome look is a bit much.

I'm not a fan of the polished look at all either, but if it will feed JHPs for $45 :dunno:

I could always shoot some gun-kote on the barrel later.

I like polished barrels on certain guns, but not polished to that level of shine.
I like the stainless look, where its more satin, but not a mirror shine.

That's different anyway, the gun came that way.
I mean when you've got a blued gun and someone wants to just polish the barrel.
I'm all for it, I just think its a bit much if you can see your reflection in the barrel.
I'm still considering polishing my M&P barrel (yes, the new one), but I would never want it to have that much bling to it.
Then again, I may just keep it all black, it is just a carry gun afterall, and the stealthier, the better.

as soon as you fire it, it doesn't look all black anyways. atleast on my shit there are wear marks on the leading edge of the barrel

Those P6's are going for like $250. I've been heavily considering it lately

Get yours polished but leave off the bling if you can.
