Alright, I'm 5'8" 175lbs and want to get a more defined body. I don't need to gain a bunch of weight (I don't think I do). Besides a strict work-out and good diet.. What supplements should I take for energy (pre-work out metabolism booster), muscle definition/builder whatever, and post-work out (faster healing/less soreness)?

take some whey + oats before the workout and whey + oats after the workout. take some caffeine and creatine before as well if you need it. drink lots of water

yep whey protein. usually about 30-35 for 5lbs of it. works good to mix in about a cup of oats with a few scoops of whey, thats what i usually drink after a workout, and before sometimes too.

for the protein and the creatine? that isn't terrible but you can get a better deal, let me know next time you are looking for stuff and I'll help you out
