I was hoping to see him play another year. Oh well, he's had a great career.

Call me a fag but watching the replay of the press conference choked me up a little bit...we don't know what it's like to go through quarterbacks here in WI.

I'm not a big Packers fan, but I've always liked Favre. He's always had an attitude like "I'm just a big kid, playing a game, having fun." Players like him are what make football great. Sorry to see him go.

i wouldnt call myself a packers fan but being a fan of the NFL, it sure is gonna be weird next year without ole number 4 around, and to think what if that throw had gone differently. The way the pats played in the SB, i think they could have beat them, it would have been awesome to see him go out on top

I don't understand how he said he was retiring because he thought they couldnt win the super bowl, but the team they're bringing back should be better than the one that went to OT against the SB champs. still... lots of respect for him.

I honestly think he is just done. He had a long amazing career and doesn't need to prove anything else, and is tired.
