I'm thin and looking to put on some muscle weight. I'm going to start hitting the gym soon so thats good, but i'm not just looking to increase the numbers on the scale, I want to look better (obviously).
What would you guys suggest as far as supplements go? Any help appreciated.

Those are both good sources of protein. one being whey and one being a mixture of whey and casein. The whey is faster absorbing and the casein is a good slow digesting protein which is great before bed.

I wouldn't waste money on a weightgainer, it's just protein and a ton of sugar. Stick with whey and if you want some extra calories mix up a shake with some peanut butter or heavy whipping cream.

Here is the basics of what you need to do
1. Start a hypertrophy routine and STICK WITH IT
2. No more soda, alcohol, cigarettes, or fast food
3. eat a shit ton more. If you go a moment in the day where you aren't full, then you aren't doing it right.
4. stick with your routine
5. eat more
6. take whey protein and creatine. This isn't the staple of your 'project'. The main thing is to follow a good routine and eat a hell of a lot more clean food
