nice work. i'd recommend JEFFS Werkstatt on that silver next time. It gives a great glow.

Yeah, I'm planning on trying some of the Werkstatt stuff once I exhaust my stock of Zaino. I really like the Poorboy's White Diamond glaze. I'm tempted to redo my M45 with the Black Hole glaze.

I don't have much experience with the Poorboy's line other than the EX and Bug Squash.

It's a great bang-for-your-buck product. I actually prefer it to some of the premium stuff like Zaino or Sonus. You get similar if not identical results for 50% of the price.

I agree, from the experience that i have. ex leaves a nice shine and bug squash really does the job.

Hows the car drive?

It's alot of fun to drive. It's got a tight suspension but does not punish your body. It's not as luxurious of a ride as my M45 but it's more of a sport-oriented sedan. There's power all over the place which is nice as I did not have to downshift out of sixth gear to pass anyone on the highway. I do have a couple complaints though:

1) Rectangular side view mirrors don't fit the car as they seem a little dated
2) Clutch pedal is about two inches too close to the brake pedal
3) Turn signal stalk is very annoying. When you signal, it doesn't actually hold the signaling position (goes back to the resting position) and to turn it off, you have to nudge it in the opposite direction. Nudge it too hard and you'll turn on the turn signal again.

Otherwise, it's a great $70K car.

Jesus christ, 70k? I built a decked out non-Xi 535 for 58k (sports, cold, and premium package).

Car was purchased in Canada so it was subject to heavy taxation. The family didn't have to pay for it though as the company bought it for my dad. Nice perk...

My mom has the 535xi too. Great car, but she lemon lawed it after 19000 miles. She got it in july and the fuel pump failed 3 different times. Right now she has a loaner 535xi until her new one comes from the factory.

I would if it were my car but it's my dad's company car so he can't change anything out for another three years.

I convinced BMW NA to fully reimburse my mom after 25k miles on her 650i and now she has a 2009 650i (was 2007) with the sports package (different hood), alcantra headliner, paddle shift, and HUD! can't wait to see it myself.
