You can't deny their reliability. You can't deny their durability. You can't even deny their ease of use.
But damnit all Glock, would you please update your terrible ergonomics? Your block grips and stupid angle do not suit everyone, and all your competition is giving people options, options that allow them to tailor fit the gun to THEM. Not just One Size fits... most?

The world is changing. Take a hint.

don't even bother, that faggot is just trolling along trying to start shit. anyone that can't see that a glock is a viable firearm is an idiot. any real gun guy will at the vary least be able to admit that you could do way worse then buying a glock.

i don't care for rugers. but i realize that some people do. and more often then not when you pull the fun switch it goes bang. so because i don't like it does that make it total shit? of course not.

anyone can point out flaws in any gun. they all have something, its just who wants to admit it.

stock sights are terrible, but i upgraded with some heinie/dawsonprecision sights, and its almost on par with my 686. thats just my experience with it. the stock sights could get me on paper with decent groups. my upgraded sights are like 11xty billion times more clear and in turn my groupings got way tight.

I owned a Glock 26 at one point.

I sold it a few months later and upgraded to the Sig Sauer P239 SAS.

The Glock was not as accurate as my other handguns, had some feeding issues even with my normal over maintenance and just did not live up to the hype that surrounds it. Of course, it may have been my specific Glock that was a POS, but after the experience I had with it, I know not to stray from the Companies I normally purchase from again.

PS: The fact that you need to pull the trigger of a Firearm to take it apart is something that I personally don't like. The day you forget to check the chamber (you will at some point in your life) pray you don't hit anything but a wall or tree.

If it prints, you're not doing a good enough job at concealing it. :wavey:

I wear somewhat baggy clothing and find anything other then a pocket gun should really be worn on the ankle if you can't fully conceal it.

And HK is a fat gun too. Quality too boot.

yeah, but knowing that you have to pull the trigger to take it apart, you would think that someones as well trained as an officer would check the chamber.

that sounds like poor safety to me, know your firearm.

I certainly won't argue that some people have done it. I'm just thinking that in the 15 yrs I've owned a handgun(s), I've never done it. And I would think most people that are LEO would say it's a rarity. The way you stated it, it was not uncommon.

Well, keep in mind, nowadays some officers are here primarily for the paycheck and not the actual police work.

Those would be the same ones that don't check the chamber of their guns before cleaning usually.

Not to mention (on my XD at least, I'll admit to not knowing exactly how the release works on a Glock) that the slide has to be in the back position to engage the slide release. So even if you forgot to check the chamber (:hsugh:) it would eject the round when you bring the slide back.
