Getting the files directly will always be better. It also shows more support to the subbing groups (rather than going to other sites that host it, especially pay ones :ugh:) and the quality will always be better without streaming. If you have the bandwidth to stream the show, especially considering how easily available they are now through irc/torrents, you're just hurting yourself.

I don't know how people can stand to watch a series in youtube quality, the animation of shows these days are amazing for the most part, seems like such a waste.

yes, i agree, DLed stuff is higher in quality, shows support to fansubs, and has midas' touch.

i do direct dl off sites, ftps, and irc, but sometimes i just want to stream. older things are hard to find because they're not hosted...so i just gotta stream them.
