They're pretty much all incompetents not worthy of the distinction or title of Executive Chef.

Fox intentionally casts some of the least qualified individuals just to piss Ramsay off and increase drama.

yes. because then it'll be fucking insane how Chef Ramsay is going to eliminate people.

PLUS, it won't come down to the best of the worse team walking away, instead it'll be a real fucking dogfight to the dessert station and finishing up with speed and accuracy.

I'm sick of watching donkeys shuffle around and do nothing.
