No sound in firefox?

So, no flash files will play sound in firefox. I made sure I had the most up to date flash player and nothing. Used opera and sound worked fine. Anyone else have this problem? XP SP2 if it helps.

sounds like its flash, uninstall flash and shockwave. If they arn't in ad and remove then download the uninstaller . restart the computer and download the stand alone installer for flash from this website h*tp://www.softwarepatch.com/internet/flash.html then you can get shockwave from the main website after that it should work

I've had that happen before too. Don't remember exactly what I did, I think I reinstalled flash and maybe even sound drivers.
